Stuffing.

AMIGURUMI ZEBRA CROCHET FREE PATTERN

Head

You work from snout to the top of the head.
Work in a spiral, start with gray yarn.
Round 1.- 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Round 2.- 6 inc (12)
Round 3.- Repeat (1 sc, 1 inc) until the end (18)
Round 4.- Repeat (2 sc, 1 inc,) until the end (24 )
Round 5.- Repeat (3 sc, 1 inc) until the end (30)
Round 6.- Repeat (4 sc, 1 inc) until the end (36)
Round 7.- Repeat (5 sc, 1 inc) until the end (42)

Round 8 .- Repeat (6 sc, 1 inc) until the end (48)
Round 9-15.- 1 sc in every stitch (48)
Round 16.- Repeat (14 sc, 1 dec) until the end (45)
Round 17-20.- 1 sc in every stitch (45)
Round 21.- Repeat (13 sc, 1 dec) until the end (42)
Switch to white yarn, switch from white to light blue every two rounds.
This part is crocheted in closed rounds, not in a spiral. This means that every round is closed with a slip stitch and the next round is started by chaining 1 stitch. These instructions are not included in the pattern below.

Round 22.- Repeat (5 sc, 1 dec) until the end (36)
Round 23.- 1 sc in every stitch (36)
Round 24 and 25.- 1 sc in every stitch in light blue (36)
Round 26 and 27.- 1 sc in every stitch in white (36)
Round 28 and 29.- 1 sc in every stitch in light blue (36)

Fasten off, use a tapestry needle to close the remaining gap.

Ears

Make two, crochet in spirals.
In dark blue:

Round 4-10.- 1 sc in every stitch (18)

Body

This part is crocheted in closed round from bottom to top.

Tail

Work in closed rounds.
Switch between white and light blue every two rounds.

Round 3-23.- 1 sc in every stitch (9)
Fasten off, leave yarn tail for sewing.
Stuff the tail, close with 4 or 5 sc.
Construction
Sew the ears to the head (see photos for approximate location).
Sew the body to the head.
Sew the hind legs and the tail to the base of the body (see photos for approximate location).
Sew the arms slightly oblique to the body (see photos).
Embroider the nostrils like a big x (see photos).
Put fringe yarn on the tail and add hair to the zebra’s head (see photos).
Zebra is finished!
